I have decided, because I am truly a boring person, that I am dedicating this blog to mostly gross things.
Like what is it that when you go to check in books they are wet, and it isn't even raining. EWWWWWWWWWWW

Just the blog? Don't you dedicate your work time to disgusting things? It is, after all, a ewwww fest almost everyday here!
I am a librarian who also raises chickens. The wierdest bookmark I ever found in a book was a small dagger. And believe it or not, some library staff checked in the book and the library's page shelved the book with out even noticing it. I happened upon it one day when I was shelf reading.
Once I was checking in some videos, and a family of roaches crawled out of the tape into my hand. Nedless to say we had to weed them from the collection.
